Product: Cedar Signs and Pine Signs
Art's
Crafts cedar signs and pine signs are manufactured from
2" thick rough cut lumber which is biscuit laminated
together using marine grade glues to ensure proper bonding.
It is then planed, shaped and sanded in preparation
for sand blasting.
Once
your sign has been sand blasted it is re-sanded and
then sealed with Epoxies, a technique that we developed
with a representative from Mas epoxies and now used
by other sign makers in this area. This procedure allows
the use of White pine as the epoxy seals the wood with
a thin plastic layer and seals moisture out. This is
the same epoxy used in the boat building industry.
The
painting process is now ready to begin.
We
also sand blast fireplace mantels for painted scenes.

turnaround time:
Allow
2 to 4 weeks upon confirmation of order. Once a design
is accepted a 30% deposit is required to confirm the
order. Larger orders for commercial purposes could take
longer.

on an individual basis, dependant on location and type
of installation required.
